13 Days From Li River to the Yangtze (Downstream)

Day 01 Arrival, Beijing (No meals)
Arrive in Beijing , the Capital city of China . Be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 02 Beijing (B/L)
Depart from hotel in the morning to visit Tian'anmen Square, the largest urban square and Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Then visit Temple of Heaven in the afternoon. Peking Opera is available for your optional night entertainment.

Day 03 Beijing (B/L)
In the morning drive 75km to visit the Great Wall (Badaling Section) first, then the Summer Palace, the ‘most beautiful garden in China '. Peking Roasted Duck is available for your optional dinner.

Day 04 Beijing Xi'an (B/L)
In the morning, take a half-day Hutong Tour by rickshaw to visit the ancient lanes and alleyways of Beijing . Be transferred to the airport for the flight to Xi'an in the afternoon.

Day 05 Xi'an (B/L)
Ample time will be provided for visits to the Qin Terracotta Army, one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation and then to see  the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the massive City Wall. Either Jiaozi Banquet or Tang Dynasty Show with Dinner is available for your optional meal.

Day 06 Xi'an--Guilin (B/L/D)
Finish up the trip in Xi'an by the visit to Shaanxi History Museum. Be transferred to the airport for the flight to Guilin.

Day 07 Guilin--Yangshuo (B/L)
The meandering Li River is a delightful destination to savor the serene, fairy-tale scenery of Southern China as you river boat passes by. Lunch is served on board. Arrives at Yangshuo , where you'll stay overnight. Impression Liu Sanjie performed on the banks of the Li River is available for your night show.

Day 08 Yangshuo--Guilin--Chongqing, Embark (B/L/D)
Be transferred to the airport of Guilin from Yangshuo, and take a flight to Chongqing , the start point of the Yangtze River Cruise.

Day 09 Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Today visit Fengdu , the ‘ Ghost City ' known for its garden, temples and status of ghost and devils.

Day 10 Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Today, an early start to traverse the Three Gorges ; Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge (West Part), including an excursion through Daning River Small Gorges . In the evening, pass through the ship locks.

Day 11 Disembark, Yichang --Shanghai (B/L)
Visit to Three Gorges Dam site-the largest project of its kind in the world, and then cruise Xiling Gorge (East Part). Arrive at Yichang, and disembark after lunch.

Day 12 Shanghai (B/L)
A full day of sightseeing starts with Jade Buddha Temple and Yuyuan Garden , a Chinese classic garden in city downtown. Then visit the nearby old street . Continue the trip to Shanghai 's new landmark- World Financial Center . In the evening, have a walk along the Bund , Shanghai 's famed waterfront promenade and Xintiandi . Traditional Dim-sum Banquet and acrobatics show are available for your optional lunch and night entertainment.

Day 13 Departure, Shanghai (B)
The vacation is over all too soon as you're transferred to the airport to board the homebound flight, bidding a fond farewell to China , and we know you'll be back.
