Money & Security

Currency onboard: Usually no cash transactions are made onboard. Instead a tally of expenses is kept for each passenger. Before disembarkation, passengers are required to pay their bills by major currencies, like US dollars, British pounds, Euro, Chinese Yuan or major credit cards, such as VISA, Master Card, or American Express. There is a currency exchange service available at the reception desk.

About tipping: Tipping is a matter of personal preference. Additional tips for any staff member who has provided a special service are at your discretion. Tips to shore excursion guides are also at passengers' discretion.

Cruise fares include: For the cruise itineraries on our website, the cruise fare includes accommodation on twin-share basis, daily meals and shore excursion programs. It excludes personal expenses, like laundry, phone calls, internet etc.

Luggage and Valuables: Standard staterooms on each ship will provide empty closets and carriers for baggage. On some ships with small cabins, a left-luggage service is offered. Although there is no baggage limitation aboard the ship, for your own comfort, we recommend that you limit the number of pieces that you bring. Group traveller’s luggage will be delivered aboard and placed into their rooms. Do not leave any valuables or cash unprotected in the stateroom, there is a mini-safe in the stateroom closet for your convenience.
