Unforgetable Hiking in Longsheng

It is really a strenuous, but unforgettable experience which we had last weekend.
 In order to inspect some new hotels and the hiking route at Longji, all the staff in our office set out for Ping’an Village at Longsheng. It is the first time for most of us, especially some newcomers, to visit Longji Terraced Fields in this season. With so much expectation, we arrived at Ping’an Village after almost 3 hours driving. When we got to our destination---Xinyuan Guesthouse, it was at dust.
Getting off the bus, I had walked fast to the further of Pingan Village, searching for the location of the Guesthouse before I had time to looked around, enjoying the sightseeing. At the time, what I was thinking of is hot food and soft bed.
 Our hiking would start next morning--- Saturday. Although we felt tired after long-time driving last afternoon, we were more excited. Most of us got up early, therefore, hiking started before sunset. Wow, terrific sightseeing! It seems that I was in a landscape painting.
Since the village is located at the mountainside, surrounded by terraced fields, we had to walked along the path, through the village, up to the upper places. Upon being out of Ping’an Village, we got to a sightseeing-viewing point. I cannot help asking colleague to take a picture for me.
  Along the path among the terraced fields, there are all kind of wild flower and wild fruit, which led me to the childhood hours when I had searched for such kind of wild fruits from one mountain to another. Hiking continued. Once our drinking water was used up, there was natural mineral water, streaming up the top of the mountain. When we felt hot, there were many brooks along the path. With the clear and cool water, the hiking tour found more enjoyable.
   We were not the only on the way from Ping’an Village to Dazhai Village. There are some foreigners who travel alone in China. Actually, I admire them a lot. See, the following guy, who is from Israel. At first, he walked alone, but joined us at last.
  As the sun rise higher and higher, the hiking became more and more strenuous. However, we still persisted in trekking forward, stopping to have rest, talking, laughing, and singing. Finally, we reached a village called Tiantouzhai at noon time, which is nearest to our destination. We can see the success is just in front of us.
