Thank you for the China trip that exceeded our expectations. Following are my comments:
1.Meals were generally excellent. Lunches as a whole were superb, particularly those in Beijing and Xian. The Peking duck dinner did not meet expectations.
2.Every guide was simply outstanding.Their English was excellent and we had no problem in communication. They were all extremely knowledgeable and were sensitive about giving us the right amount of information. Their coordination with the drivers was also impressive.
3.Drivers were always courteous and never had to be asked to assist with luggage. The vans were spotless, including very clean windows.The vans were roomy, clean and comfortable. The only recommendation concerns tinted glass. The van in Guilin had dark tinted glass and made it more difficult to see and virtually impossible to take pictures out of the van. I would recommend that your vans have minimal to no tinting of the windows.
In short, we were very impressed with Yangtze River Tour. Hotels, guides, vans, meals, and drivers all met or exceeded our expectations. We have already started recommending your service to our friends and do so without reservation. It was a wonderful China vacation.
